TWIX® Cookies & Creme Mug Cakes
Dotted with chopped TWIX® Cookies & Creme, these bright blue mug cakes are a snap to make and fun for sharing.
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp blue food coloring (liquid or gel)
- 2 pkg (1.36 oz each) TWIX® Cookies & Creme, chopped
TWIX Cookies & Creme Bar
1 Grease 12 microwave-safe mugs. Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt, and set aside.
2 In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla until well blended; stir in the flour mixture until smooth. Stir in the food coloring, and fold in the chopped TWIX® Cookies & Creme.
3 Scoop 1/4 cup of batter into each mug. One at a time, microwave on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until puffed and tester inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
4 Allow to stand for 1 to 2 minutes or until slightly cooled before serving.
5 Tip: Top cakes with a dusting of icing sugar, dollop of whipped cream or scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
